Before the stream. Before the college. Before any of it, there's one question worth asking first. Who are you, actually?
Not a personality test. Not a quiz with obvious answers. A mirror.
Every student falls into one of these. The quiz figures out which.
No subscriptions. No paywall. No card details, anywhere.
The quiz takes 5 minutes. The clarity can last a lifetime.

Unblur is built and run by an independent student, not a registered company. This policy tells you honestly what happens to your information — no legal boilerplate pretending otherwise.
Your name, your quiz answers, and — if you create an account — your email address. If you use the report chat, your questions are sent along with your quiz context to generate a response. Nothing else is collected: no location tracking, no device fingerprinting, no third-party analytics or ad trackers.
Your quiz answers are processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate your personalised report and adaptive questions — this happens through a private server we control, so your answers aren't exposed directly to a third party beyond that processing. Your name, email, archetype, and scores are logged to a private Google Sheet that only the founder can access, so we know who's used the site and can improve it.
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't use it to train AI models beyond the individual report you're generating in that session.
Unblur is built for students aged 13–19, most of whom are legally minors in India. If you say you're under 18 when creating an account, we ask for a parent or guardian's email before we save anything. This isn't government-ID-verified consent — it's a good-faith check that a parent or guardian knows you're using the site and is fine with your name and email being stored, and it's logged with a timestamp. If you're a parent or guardian and want to see what data your child has shared, object to it being stored, or want it deleted, contact us using the details below — we'll act on it directly, no runaround.
We don't track behaviour across sessions, build advertising profiles, or show targeted ads to anyone — this applies to every user, and is a hard rule for anyone under 18.
Email us (or have your parent/guardian email us, if you're under 18) and we'll remove your row from our records. Since this runs on a small independent setup rather than an automated enterprise system, expect it to be handled personally within a few days, not instantly.
Reach out at unblurrrr@gmail.com for any privacy questions, data requests, or parent/guardian queries.

Unblur is a self-discovery quiz that maps how you think and decide, and suggests career directions based on that. It is not a psychometric diagnostic tool, not a substitute for a licensed career counsellor, and not a guarantee of any outcome. Treat it as a genuinely useful starting point, not a verdict.
The full report, including career breakdowns, university information, and the parent summary, is free. No payment is ever required to access any part of the product.
Parts of your report and some quiz questions are generated by AI (Claude, by Anthropic) based on your own answers. We've built this carefully to only interpret patterns in what you've told us — not invent salary figures, college details, or scholarship information, which come from separately maintained, curated data. Even so, treat AI-generated interpretation as one useful perspective, not an absolute truth about who you are.
Answer honestly — the report is only as accurate as what you put in. Career and education decisions are yours to make, ideally with input from people who know you personally (parents, teachers, counsellors), not just this quiz.
Salary figures, admission chances, and scholarship availability are estimates based on publicly available information at the time of writing, and can change. We do our best to keep them accurate but can't guarantee they reflect the exact numbers you'll encounter.
This product is actively being improved by one person. Features, wording, and these terms may change as it evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
Before the stream, the college, the entrance — there's one question worth asking first. Who are you, actually?
This isn't a quiz. It's a mirror. The more honestly you engage, the clearer the reflection.
